The Orientation workshop is an essential part of the Catalyst Programme and is designed to help us collectively build the foundation for this exciting leadership journey you are starting.

VW2 – Lived Experiences

This workshop will give you the opportunity to share your lived experience as a Racially Diverse Leader at LinkedIn. It will enable you to amplify your voice, disclose the experiences you have had, the choices you have made, and understand the knowledge and skills these have given you.

VW3 – The Leaders Story

Leadership can be a lonely and heavily guarded space. The Leader’s Story workshop focuses on unpacking the mystery of leadership. It navigates the story of self, why you have been called to lead and your definition of leadership.

VW4 – Purpose to Impact

Purpose is what enables a leader to navigate the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous, world we face today. It answers your big ‘Why?’ question, gives your life and work meaning, anchoring what you do, and setting your true north. This session takes you through a process to identify and clarify your purpose.

VW5 – Authenticity

Authenticity is a constant journey of self-awareness of identity, values, strengths and limitations. This workshop helps you better understand your identity self, how your authentic self-shows up in your leadership of self and others, and the importance of authenticity to LinkedIn.

VW6 – Career Journey

The Career Journey workshop is designed to give you time to reflect on the past in order to step into the future, acknowledge your achievements, and further build on your strengths.

VW7 – Vision

As a leader, your vision shows you where you are headed, motivating and inspiring you to keep going. In the Vision workshop, you will be guided through a process to help you create, step into and capture your vision of your Future Self.

VW8 – Action Learning

The Action Learning workshop provides the space to do some reflective learning around the issues you face and opportunities available to you, in a supportive environment.

VW9 – Leadership MOT

The Leadership MOT workshop provides the opportunity for you to take stock of the different assessment exercises you have completed, drawing out your strengths and how these support the achievement of your career ambitions at LinkedIn.

VW10 – Career Strategy

Career Strategy takes you through a process to close the gap between your 3-year vision and your today, creating milestones and a map of your journey.

VW11 – iBrand

A personal brand is the total experience that others have in relationship with you – who you are and what you represent. The “iBrand” workshop helps you understand and communicate your personal brand, and develop a powerful brand statement.

VW12 – 360° Leadership

360° Leadership is all about identifying key stakeholders and the quality of relationship with them. You will explore approaches to sustaining, building, investing and turning around your key relationships.

VW13 – Power of Storytelling

Following input on the power of storytelling as Racially Diverse Leaders, these workshops provide you with space to “Real Play” courageous conversations you want to have with key stakeholders.

Storytelling is an essential part of leadership. Effective Racially Diverse Leaders communicate to inspire people to excel, to grow their impact in the world, and to leave a legacy. This workshop will provide input on how to find your voice and communicate a compelling, authentic narrative of your leadership.

VW14 – Communicating with Impact

Practice makes perfect. Using “actor-facilitators” the Communicating with Impact workshop provides the space for you to “Real Play” courageous conversations with key stakeholders and your leadership narrative.

VW15 – Leadership Signature

Now is the time to consolidate all your learning from the Catalyst Programme. This workshop provides you with the space and tools to bring it all together and create your own unique powerful Leadership Signature.

VW16 – The New Narrative

The big question the New Narrative workshop addresses is where to next? Working collaboratively, you will support each other in creating a living development and action plan, that will maintain and accelerate your leadership growth and impact as a Racially Diverse Leader at LinkedIn.
